
FEANTSA, the European Federation of National Organisations Working with the Homeless is an umbrella of not-for-profit organisations which participate in or contribute to the fight against homelessness in Europe. It is the only major European network that focuses exclusively on homelessness at European level.

The focus is on barriers of access to health care and the nature of health interventions. The paper draws upon evidence from seven EU countries and aims to describe the different approaches in their national context as well as to draw comparative lessons from the evidence. |

 | The changing role of the state: Homelessness and exclusion: regulating public space [2006] The report consists on three parts and starts by charting the background to what the authors refer to as the ‘regulation of urban space’. In the second part, they look at the evidence from across Europe and especially from the case study countries - Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden. In the third part variety of explanations are considered for the imposition of restricted access during the present period. |
